Pruning can be either beneficial or harmful to trees. A good trim can help trees have strong wind and snow resistance, remove the unsightly dead, balance the tree, and increase photosynthesis efficiency. Improper pruning however, can leave the tree vulnerable to disease, overgrowth due to over pruning, damage due to imbalancing, and unnatural aesthetic. When pruning it is our goal to shape the tree to look natural and healthy.
